Welcome to Ann K. Snyder Elementary School!
Dear Snyder Families,

Welcome back for YEAR FOUR!!!  I hope that everyone has had a wonderful summer and are feeling rested and excited to come back to Snyder.  I am beyond pleased with the outstanding work and progress that our Stallions made last year.  This year, I am looking forward to withstanding continued high standards and working with your children to add value to them each and everyday.

In June, 2016, the Houston Chronicle released a study conducted by Children at Risk, and named Snyder Elementary in the Top 100 of elementary schools in the Houston area.  Additionally, our school received an A+ rating!  Way to go, Stallions!

I wanted to announce that Dr. Ann Snyder has retired as the CEO and President of Interfaith of the The Woodlands.  The students and staff at Snyder are amazed by her incredible work that she has devoted to our community for so many years.  She has also served on our CISD School Board for 15 years.  Dr. Snyder has given back to the Montgomery County community in so many ways.  Her amazing love and determination to always help and serve others, will continue to be the foundation that the staff at Snyder Elementary will instill in our children.  Each student at Snyder will continue to learn the importance of giving to others, showing kindness, and putting forth the effort to serve others in many different ways.  The children will learn the impact and importance of gratitude, while providing service to those in need.  We are so fortunate to build our school on this amazing foundation of "paying it forward."

The staff at Snyder Elementary will be collaborating each week in Professional Learning Communities.  At Snyder, we believe the importance of working together, constant collaboration, and utilizing the best practices that each teacher exhibits, in order to provide the best for the students' success.  It is the continuous collaboration among the teachers that has allowed us to remain as a high achieving campus through the Texas Education Agency accountability system.   I am very proud of the Snyder staff, and know that each of them will provide each child the best in education.

I want to personally welcome all of our new families to the area.  We are blasting with growth at Snyder, and it is such an exciting time to be a Snyder Stallion!!

If you should need anything at all, please feel free to contact me at anytime.

Sincerely,
Lindsay Ardoin  IMG_0562.jpg
