Welcome to Third Grade!! I am honored to be your child's Language Arts and Social Studies teacher for the 2017-18 school year. My fifteen years of classroom experience include second grade, third grade, and Kindergarten. This will be my fourth year teaching at the best school in the district, Snyder Elementary.  I am looking forward to a fantastic year!

Reading is an important part of everything we do.  Please be sure to have your child read for at least 20 minutes each day.   
Blue Daily Folders
These folders will be sent home every day.   Please initial the date on the conduct sheet, and return it to school the following day.  Test reviews, homework, event reminders, and parent information, will be sent home in this folder.   

Blue Friday Folders
Graded papers and other important information will be be sent home once weekly using this folder.  Please keep the papers, sign, and return the folder the following Monday.  
Parents may bring store bought cupcakes or cookies to be distributed, by the teacher, at
the end of the lunchtime for birthdays. Please contact your child’s teacher
prior to the special occasion to make arrangements. We ask that parents
refrain from sending other items (balloons, flowers, candles, etc.)

Total number of students in our class:   22
Each child is allowed to bring one snack to class daily. Please make sure the snack is healthy
and mess free. (No yogurt, or anything that needs a spoon.)

Students are encouraged to bring water bottles to school.
Water bottles should  be labeled with child’s name.
Only water is allowed.


Don't forget to read 20 minutes nightly!
